1. Stuck
A moment of difficulty.

Meet PiBA — a playful learning companion we are building to help children take the next step, then return to their own work.

Sneak Peek
PiBA supports the moment of difficulty, so the learner can keep going.
A moment of difficulty.
A gentle nudge, not the answer.
Her ideas, her words, her progress.
Why we are building it
Too many tools either leave children stuck or take over too much. We believe the better path is to support the moment of difficulty, then help the learner continue with confidence.
PiBA supports the stuck moment without taking over the task.
Small, timely support can make progress feel possible again.
Parents and educators get useful clarity without drowning in noise.
What is PiBA?
PiBA is being developed to give children small, playful moments of support while keeping them responsible for the real work of learning.
First validation focus: primary-school writing in Singapore.
Who we want to meet
PiBA is still early. That is exactly why the conversations we have now matter.
Learning centres and education organisations interested in carefully testing new learning experiences.
Current validation environment: PlayED Budding Learners, Singapore.
Educators and researchers who want to challenge assumptions and help build responsibly.
People who see the opportunity in a different kind of child-centred learning technology.
Learning in the real world
PlayED Budding Learners (PBL) is a Singapore learning-centre partner providing a real-world environment for selected PLEMO and PiBA learning experiences.
This gives PEDGES a practical setting for observing how experiences work within real teaching routines and improving them under governed conditions — not just how they behave in a product demonstration.

About PEDGES
PlayED Games & Education Studio (PEDGES) is a Singapore-based education technology studio bringing together game production, learning design and classroom-grounded thinking.
We build learning technology with the production discipline of games, the grounding of learning science, and the reality check of actual classrooms.
